Welcome Miss Kennedy

Term 3 has started well in Room 14 and we have been very busy. We have also been super lucky to have another teacher in our class. Miss Kennedy is in our class for 5 weeks and is visiting us from Canterbury University. So far this week she has taught us heaps and even done some exciting Art and Te Reo lessons. We cannot wait to see what she has planned for us over the next couple of weeks. Welcome Miss Kennedy!

Mothers Day

For Mothers Day we wrote stories about why we all love our Mum's. Then we turned them into a bunch of flowers for Mum. They looked so pretty all up in our class that Mrs DW was sad to send them all home for those wonderful Mums. We hope you all had a lovely Mothers Day. What did you get up to on Mothers Day?

Russley School's ANZAC service

Welcome back after the holidays. This week we had a special week preparing for our special school ANZAC service. Every student in the school made a poppy to place at the front of the school near the notice board. We had our buddies help us make ours. Here are some photos of Friday.

Maths Investigation

On Friday we embarked upon a Mathematical Invetigation.
What colour are the jelly beans?
We wanted to find out if there were a fair share of colours in a packet of Jellybeans. First we had to sort them. Next we tallied them and finally we graphed our results. You might be surprised to see what we found out.
